'Hypnotized' Posters

I created two colour variations of a poster inspired by Set It Off's song, Hypnotized. The white, blue and black poster is inspired by the colours of the album that the song comes from, and the black poster is the same, but in inverted colours.

I'm thrilled with the outcome! My classmates were a fan of the black poster, but for me, the white poster especially is something I'd love to have up framed!

Set It Off: Elsewhere Hoodie Mock-Up

Using a mock up from graphicburger.com , I added my Set It Off circular logo and developed it to use as the main design for my hoodie. I researched the standard size for logos on garments, which is 3.5” x 3.5”, and for the back, I added larger version of the logo. I made a front and back white version, and a front pink version to show colour variation.

Overall, I am pleased with the outcome of my hoodie designs! It is something I see myself wearing. To improve, I think I would make my colour variants before I begin, so I can put them straight into Photoshop, instead of having to stop and start because of colouring, therefore slowing down the mockup process.I used graphicburger.com to find a hoodie mockup.

Elswhere, Hypnotized and Midnight Badges

I created a series of badges for Set It Off's Elswhere, Midnight, and Hypnotized.

For the Elswhere badges, I used my circular Set It Off logo. Taking the logo from a black and white image, I added in the album's theme colours of yellow, pink and green, and recoloured the logo in those colours. I also made some black and white badges, and some with black background but a colourful foreground.

I also took the design from my Hypnotized lyrical image and altered it as two badges. I changed the placement of the words, and created one badge with the target background only.

I even created my own packaging for the badges. I created a merchandise logo, printed them out as stickers, and attached them to a cardboard gift box. I used wrapping paper in the colours of my badges as inside packaging.

I’m so pleased with the outcome of these badges! I think they look professional, and when they are sorted into groups of colour, they look so effective. I envisage that they would look brilliant on the same bag or t-shirt together. In terms of improvement, I think that my badge making technique still needs work in terms of cutting my designs out accurately and making the centred.

Hypnotized Tote Bag

Using the design from my Hypnotized poster, I created a mock-up of a tote bag with that design. With more time, I would have liked to create this mock-up as a physical outcome with silk screen, but a mock-up was a good alternative, considering time. This is something I could see myself wearing. I'm really happy with the clean look of the design!
