Today, I've been learning how to transfer my designs onto digital mock ups (a digital model of a product).

Mock ups are a really useful way for designers to showcase a final product outcome without spending time and money on printing and supplies. They are a quick, cost effective and realistic way to create a product realisation.
Using my digital repeat patterns, I created a few mock ups with lots of different products. I searched GraphicBurger's templates to download and create my own digital realisations.
Reflection
What did you think of the work you produced?
I am very pleased with the outcome of my work in this project. I think my mock-ups designs look professional and high quality due to their image quality, my patterns, and the realistic mock-up templates.
Was it successful? What would you do differently?
On the whole, I think this work was a success! I took time to experiment with and plan my work, which all benefited my designs.
One thing I did experience was finding it tricky to match up patterns, particularly on the van and treats box mock-ups. When I revisit creating mock-ups, I’d like to learn how to properly match up my patterns, instead of having to use a solid colour in the space instead.
How could you develop this moving forward? Is this something you would revisit in future work?
I will definitely revisit creating mock-ups in the future because they’re a free, professional, and realistic way to display your design and final product. The end result looks so brilliant!
