Journey: Repeat Patterns and Mock Ups

Inspired by the nature and lots and lots of pictures of flowers from my walks, I created a few flower repeat patterns. To me, the flowers represent growth as well nature, plus, personal growth through nature. I've had a lot of personal growth through walking, and I find a lot of tranquility in it.

I created a few different repeat patterns, and I created this mock up from a pattern I created.

I was wondering what colours to choose for these designs, and I thought about what seems to be fashionable right now. I realised that pastel green is popular colour at the moment, and one I’ve always liked.

As my next steps, I'd like to create a wrapping paper mock up that uses white ink on brown parcel paper. As one of my final outcomes, I'd like to use elements of this pattern for a design on a pair of white canvas shoes, as well as a series of badges with this design. Updates will follow as I create these outcomes!
